Jonathan has been in the finance (banking & insurance) industry since 2011, with significant experience in commercial-grade financial systems managing millions of dollars.

His background in managing and securing 24-hour, high-value commercial systems allows him to seamlessly navigate technology environments of any size. Coming from a family of small-business owners, he is genuinely passionate about ensuring organizations thrive for years, despite the rapidly evolving landscape of technological innovations and threats.

In his volunteer work and beyond, Jonathan aspires to nurture spaces characterized by integrity, collaboration, and problem-solving. He believes helping one another with insights gained from overcoming personal and professional challenges is always worth the time and effort (especially for the next generation!)

His experience in supporting & developing high-integrity applications, programs, and scripts in the Financial Services sector, give him familiarity with the life cycle of successful large-scale development initiatives, both client-facing and internally.

He is familiar with directing compliance requirements for independent audits, especially the recovery of critical assets like data and custom system configurations. He has expertise in maintaining & improving legacy enterprise-level software, staging replacements, and manipulating critical live production environments.

Beyond his technical expertise, Jonathan's relentless drive to forge relationships within the city's tech & business community uniquely enhances his awareness for local trends and challenges. This community involvement promote his ability to effectively resource, support, and lead diverse technological initiatives. Among them are engineers, IT instructors, cybersecurity experts, inventors, entrepreneurs, and policy makers in San Antonio.
